Stone School

Ezine’s First City Hall

Reading Time: 1 minutes

When the Municipality of Ezine was founded in 1886, the building was used as a municipal building for a long time. During the Republican period, the building was used as a school due to the construction of a new municipal building and the need for school. For this reason, the name remained as a tash mektep (stone school) among the public.

Today the building continues to serve as Ezine Municipality Council Building.
